Vontsira Green represents our commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable energy production. We transform agricultural waste into valuable resources while addressing critical environmental challenges
Through innovative technology and strategic vision, we utilise olive and agricultural waste to produce:
High-quality oil exported to established markets in Italy and Spain
Premium biofuel that serves as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional pellets
Clean, renewable energy that feeds directly into local natural gas grids
Each of our facilities features integrated solar technology that powers operations while returning surplus energy to the grid, creating a truly sustainable energy cycle
Our plants address longstanding environmental challenges in olive-producing regions:
Eliminating toxic water pollution from traditional olive processing methods
Reducing harmful air emissions through pollution-free processing techniques
Producing carbon credits through our negative carbon footprint
Creating natural soil enhancers that replace chemical fertilizers
Vontsira Green is expanding with purpose and vision:
Our first plant in Patras, Greece, serves as the cornerstone of our sustainable energy portfolio
Development of six plants across strategic locations in Greece
Expansion to 18 operational plants, establishing Vontsira as a market leader in biomethane production
Beyond environmental innovation, our facilities create meaningful impact for local communities:
Providing free natural soil enhancers to local farmers and governments
Creating new employment opportunities in rural areas
Solving decades-old pollution issues that affect quality of life
Assisting the Greek Government's goals to become a key energy hub in Europe
